A server is loaded with a monitoring pack that, once activated, reports continuously to itro’s monitoring environment. The ‘communication’ between your server and itro happens securely and continuously, 24-7, 365 days a year. Data fed from your servers is compiled into easy to read monthly reports that keep you informed on the performance and health of your IT systems. itro’s senior engineers use the data to identify possible issues and proactively suggest future upgrades or options that best suit your business growth.
Monitoring of Backup Systems focuses on reporting successful backups, not simply recording activity. Unless a full backup is successfully completed, your backup is worthless. itro’s monitoring demands receipt of a daily success report from your Backup System. Failure to acknowledge a success report automatically generates a case which is fed into itro’s Service Desk for immediate attention.
All customisation and maintenance of itro’s monitoring environment – and access to your data – is maintained and limited solely to itro. Whilst most IT providers offer ‘unique’ monitoring environments, many use generic ‘off-the-shelf’ products they have re-branded as their own. Often maintenance of these generic environments are handled by the original manufacturer, potentially introducing a level of complexity and exposure to the security of your data.
